Terms and conditions

This is an English translation for your convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.

Scope and provider

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to the use of the Hochzeitsuche.ch platform (hereinafter “platform”), operated by PortalWeb GmbH. By registering or using the platform, you accept these terms without restriction.

1.2 The platform serves as an online directory for providers of wedding services (e.g. venues, photographers, catering) and enables couples to search for suitable vendors.

Conclusion of contract and listing types

2.1 Free listings:

All business listings on Hochzeitsuche.ch are currently free of charge. Should the platform introduce additional paid offers in the future (e.g. premium or featured listings), existing listings will remain unchanged until the end of the free term. After that, you are free to decide whether to use a paid offer or to delete your listing. There is no automatic renewal into a paid package.

2.2 Registration:

  • By entering your company details (name, address, description of services, images etc.) you submit a binding offer to conclude a contract.
  • The contract is only concluded when we activate your listing after checking it. We reserve the right to reject listings without giving reasons (e.g. in the case of off-topic content).

2.3 Consideration for free listings:

In exchange for a free listing, we may ask you to place a backlink to Hochzeitsuche.ch on your website (e.g. “Featured on Hochzeitsuche.ch”). If you refuse, we are entitled to deactivate your listing.

Rights and obligations

3.1 Content and accuracy:

  • You guarantee that all information provided (texts, images, prices) is truthful, up to date and legally unobjectionable.
  • Content that violates laws, copyrights or public decency (e.g. discriminatory statements, fake reviews) is prohibited.

3.2 Right of use:

By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide right of use. This includes display on the platform, on social media and in marketing materials.

3.3 SEO optimisation:

We may technically optimise the texts and metadata of your listing (e.g. for search engines), provided that the original meaning is retained. You can object by email.

Contract term and termination

4.1 Flexible term:

The contract is concluded for an indefinite period and can be terminated by either party at any time without notice.

4.2 Deleting a listing:

You can delete your listing via the website at any time.

4.3 Switch to a paid model:

If paid packages are introduced, we will inform you in good time. If you reject the new terms, your listing will be deleted automatically.

Liability and warranty

5.1 Limitation of liability:

We accept no liability for:

  • Damage resulting from the use or unavailability of the platform.
  • Errors or legal violations in third-party listings.

Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence under the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR).

5.2 External links:

We accept no responsibility for the content of linked third-party websites (e.g. vendor websites).

Data protection

6.1 Data processing:

  • We collect and use your data exclusively for the performance of the contract in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
  • The following is stored: company name, contact details, description of services, IP address.

6.2 Disclosure of data:

Your contact details (e.g. email) will not be sold to third parties, but may be publicly visible on the platform.

6.3 Right to information:

You have the right to view, correct or delete stored data. To do so, please contact info@hochzeitsuche.ch.

Final provisions

7.1 Changes to the terms:

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions. Changes will be communicated to you by email and are deemed accepted after 14 days unless you object.

7.2 Place of jurisdiction:

Swiss law applies exclusively to all disputes.

7.3 Severability clause:

Should individual clauses be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains in force.
