Wedding videographers in Switzerland

A wedding film costs about the same as the photography. For a full day, Swiss couples typically budget CHF 2'500 to 5'000. Shorter coverage starts at around CHF 1'000, and elaborate productions can exceed CHF 6'000. Many providers quote the price of the film on request, because it depends heavily on the hours and the editing.

The price depends on the hours on site, the number of cameras and the editing: much of the work comes after the wedding day. • Highlight film: three to five minutes with the best moments and music. This is the film you will show most often.
• Full-length wedding film: 20 to 60 minutes, the whole day as it unfolded.
• Ceremony and speeches in full: for anyone who wants to keep every word.
• Short clip: a short film for phones, for Instagram or as a thank-you to your guests.

With one team you have one contact and one schedule, and the pictures and the film match in style. Booking separately lets you choose your favourite for each. In that case the two should talk beforehand, so that they do not stand in each other's shots during the ceremony and the couple portraits.

• A whole film: watch a complete wedding film, not just the trailer. It shows how someone handles speeches and difficult light.
• Sound: the vows and the speeches need clean sound. Ask how it is recorded and whether there is a backup.
• Music: can you have a say in it, and may you show the film online with that music?
• Drone: check with your venue in advance whether it may fly.
• Delivery time: editing takes time. Ask when the film will be ready and how many changes are included.
• Rights: agree whether the videographer may show the film publicly and whether you receive the raw footage.
